Hi, I’m S. Tennille Whisenton!
I’m a writer, travel enthusiast, follower of Jesus, and visionary of spaces where faith, healing, and inspiration thrive. Born and raised in Texas, I’ve always believed in the power of storytelling to bring people together. My journey hasn’t been without its challenges, but through it all, I’ve found hope, healing, and purpose—and now I’m sharing that with you.
When I’m not writing or blogging, I’m helping others plan their dream vacations as the owner of Majestic Travels. Traveling isn’t just my job—it’s my PASSION. From serene water-themed destinations to thrilling adventures, I believe there’s no better way to refresh your spirit and rediscover joy than exploring the beauty of God’s creation.
I’m a wife to my amazing husband, Monroe, daughter, caregiver, sister, and proud Nana to my Little Gems. This blog is new territory for me. I’m stepping out on faith to share those million-and-one thoughts and conversations I’ve had with the Lord. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and there’s nothing I love more than diving into the Word of God.
My husband and I have been best friends for two decades and just celebrated our FIRST wedding anniversary. I love you honey. When God writes your love story it is unbelievably perfect. We are TTC (trying to conceive), so we welcome all your prayers on this journey.
Eighteen months ago, I lost my dad, and navigating grief has been one of the hardest yet most transformative experiences of my life. As I heal, this season has birthed some of my best writing. I miss him every single day, but his love and legacy inspire me to keep moving forward.
I was diagnosed with AuDHD at 35, a discovery that completely reframed how I see myself—and the world. For those unfamiliar, AuDHD is a combination of autism and ADHD, which means my brain works in unique and beautiful ways. While it hasn’t always been easy to navigate, this diagnosis has been a blessing, helping me understand myself better and embrace the tools I need to thrive.
If anything, learning about neurodivergence has unlocked a deeper appreciation for who I am. My creativity, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box all stem from the way my brain is wired. And while there are challenges, I wouldn’t trade it for anything because my life—at almost 38—couldn’t be better.
If you’re struggling, this space is for you. Whether you’re navigating a season of uncertainty, seeking inspiration, wanting to build community, grow your love of cooking, or just needing a moment of peace, know that you’re not alone. Here, we embrace the beauty of growth--one step at a time. It’s not about perfection; it’s about progress, grace, and honoring your process over perfection.
When I’m not writing or planning travel, you can find me in the kitchen cooking up something comforting, putting my Social Work degree to use by advocating for others, serving the Lord in my community, or watching football—Go Texans!
I hope this space becomes a source of encouragement, inspiration, and connection for you, as it has for me. Let’s walk this journey together, one step (and one prayer) at a time.
Aquifer of Restored Hope is a lifestyle blog designed to inspire and uplift. Here, you’ll find faith-based reflections, nourishing recipes, and travel tips that encourage you to embrace joy and live intentionally. My goal is to create a space where every visitor feels renewed and restored—one drop at a time.
An aquifer is a natural underground reservoir that stores and provides fresh water, sustaining life and nourishing the earth. Hidden beneath the surface, it’s a source of renewal and abundance, continually replenishing itself over time.
Much like a physical aquifer provides life-giving water, Aquifer of Restored Hope is a spiritual wellspring. It’s a place to draw from God’s living water—the hope, grace, and restoration found in His Word. The Bible reminds us in John 4:14:
“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
This blog exists to encourage you to tap into that spiritual aquifer—a deep reservoir of faith and hope that sustains us through life’s challenges and joys.
ByTennille Collective is the heart ❤️ of my creative endeavors, where faith, healing, and inspiration meet.
ByTennille Collective is the heart ❤️ of my creative endeavors, where faith, healing, and inspiration meet. From my blog, Aquifer of Restored Hope, to travel planning through Majestic Travels and future projects like books, curated small group trips (Restoration in Greece 🇬🇷 anyone), and Poetry in Motion, this collective is a CELEBRATION of life’s most meaningful moments.
At its core, ByTennille Collective is about storytelling—whether through words, experiences, or connections. Writing has always been my passion, and the quill in our logo reflects the creativity and purpose that drives everything I do. The water ripplesremind us of restoration and growth, while the globe is a nod to the adventures that bring us closer to God’s creation and each other.
Looking ahead, ByTennille Collective will continue to expand with speaking engagements, children’s books, and other opportunities to create meaningful connections. This is more than a brand—it’s a journey. ByTennille Collective is here to encourage, inspire, and create spaces where everyone feels seen, loved, and renewed. Thank you for joining me on this path. Let’s grow, explore, and live intentionally--together.
